A little about me
Coughlan Web was founded in 2011 to help provide websites for local business in the North Wicklow area.
I have always had a keen interest in computers and coding and in 2014 began teaching in Scoil San Eoin in Redcross.
My classes quickly expanded to other schools and I was able to invest in my own equipment. I chose the Raspberry Pi platform to teach with as it is hugely expandable for teaching. Among the equipment I use are the BBC Microbits, Raspberry Pi Pico Microcontrollers and a range of Robots, sensors and lights.
I currently run classes in 4 local primary schools. I also run a Saturday coding club in Gaelscoil Chill Mhantáin, Rathnew every Friday and Saturday during the school year.
